to Join
The GRC is made
up of volunteer nurses from the membership of
SOHN. We are a non-partisan group that meets annually
at Congress. We support nursing issues, especially
those related to otorhinolaryngology. We maintain
contact by numerous means of communication throughout
the year. We welcome and encourage any nurse member
to join us to learn more about the Government Relations
process and to help nurses make a difference
How
to Become Involved
- Register to
vote and vote in every election
- Attend town
meetings held by legislators and elected officials
- Visit your
State Capitol and state and local offices
of your Representatives
- Volunteer
on a campaign and/or in an elected official's
office
- Join the League
of Women Voters
- Join ANA,
your state organization and/or your specialty
organization
- Become part
of SOHN,s Government Relations Committee (GRC)
