The SOHN Congress and Educational Symposium hosted by the Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Nurses is a dynamic gathering that brings together professionals dedicated to advancing patient care in ear, nose, and throat specialties. Held annually, this  event serves as a pivotal platform for sharing cutting-edge research, clinical innovations, and best practices in the field. Attendees benefit from a rich program featuring a keynote speaker, workshops, and interactive sessions tailored to enhance their knowledge and skills. Whether exploring the latest techniques, advancements in patient care, or strategies for improving healthcare outcomes, participants find themselves immersed in a collaborative environment that fosters learning and professional growth. The symposium also provides invaluable networking opportunities, connecting nurses and healthcare leaders from around the country who share a passion for excellence in otorhinolaryngology nursing.

Poster Abstract Information

Submission Deadline: August 1, 2025
 
Applications should be submitted electronically by August 1, in order to be considered for poster awards. Posters will be accepted on a rolling basis, and primary authors will be notified of the poster acceptance within 1 month of submission.

  • Late submission will not be eligible for the Poster awards but may be considered for inclusion in the Congress program. 
  • Mentorship for poster submissions is available. 
  • A PDF of the poster presentation must be submitted to Headquarters by September 1.

  • Research 
  • Evidence-Base Practice 
  • Quality Improvement 
  • Education

Poster categories include Research, Evidence-Base Practice, Quality Improvement, and Education.  Please consider submitting a poster abstract to represent the valuable contributions in ORL nursing.  If submitted by August 1st, your poster will be considered for a $100 award!
